Kitchenware Import & Distribution

Globeeday

Global brands, into everyday Korean life.

We find outstanding kitchen and lifestyle brands from around the world and bring them to the Korean market through proper, official import and distribution.

About

Good kitchenware, into everyday Korean life

Globeeday finds kitchen and lifestyle brands from overseas and imports and distributes them in Korea through official channels.

The more often a product is used, the more closely it deserves to be examined — not only its design, but its materials, its quality and how it actually performs in daily use.

Rather than adding brands quickly, we take the time to understand one brand properly and run it responsibly — from Korean regulatory compliance through import and distribution.

01

We keep what we promise

We share timelines, volumes and distribution plans clearly, and we hold to the standards we agree on. We say plainly what we can and cannot do.

02

We stay responsible after import

Customs clearance, Korean regulatory compliance, product review and distribution. We stay with a product until it has a stable place in the Korean market.

03

We check it ourselves before deciding

We use and inspect every product we consider importing. Design, materials, quality and usability all decide what we bring to Korea.

Founder's Note

I want to introduce good products properly

Frida Lee, founder of Globeeday

For many years I have cooked for my family, using all kinds of tools in the kitchen every day. It is not glamorous or special work, only something that repeats — but I came to see that one good tool can make that time a little easier and more enjoyable.

Then one day I became curious. What kitchenware do people use in other countries? Are there good products that have not yet been introduced in Korea?

Globeeday began with that question.

What I want to introduce is not simply what is new or eye-catching. I use a product myself and look at its design, materials, quality and how it actually performs, asking whether it is worth using for a long time in everyday life.

I also check carefully the standards and procedures required to introduce a product in Korea officially.

For brands, I want to be a partner they can trust with the Korean market. For customers, a point of connection to good products from around the world.

Finding good products, and introducing them properly. That is why I started Globeeday, and the standard I intend to keep.

Frida Lee Founder & CEO, Globeeday

Why Us

A partner who understands the Korean market

01

Understanding the Korean market

We look at how Korean kitchens work, how people buy, the price bands and the distribution channels, and assess where a product can sit in this market.

02

A dedicated line for each brand

We speak with the brand directly and manage everything from import preparation to domestic distribution in one continuous line — one point of contact, answering quickly and clearly.

03

A partnership that lasts

We do not stop at importing a product. We work with the brand on how it can keep growing in the Korean market.

Services

Entering Korea, from first step to growth

01

Brand Sourcing

We look at Korean kitchen environments, consumer trends and price points to find overseas brands and products with real potential in the Korean market.

02

Import & Customs

We confirm the import requirements for each product and manage every step from shipping through customs clearance, keeping documents and procedures in order so shipments can continue steadily.

03

Domestic Distribution

We review the online and offline channels that suit each product and its audience, then widen sales and supply in the way that fits the Korean market.

04

Market Entry

We work out the pricing and product line-up suited to the Korean market, and localise packaging, labelling and everything else selling in Korea requires.

05

Marketing

We plan content, retail detail pages and promotions so the value of the brand and the strengths of the product come across clearly to Korean consumers.

06

Brand Development

We watch how sales move and how the market responds, share that with the brand, and build the next direction together — further products and wider distribution.

Process

How a partnership usually runs

Step 01

Inquiry

We review the brand and its product information, and discuss together what is possible in the Korean market and how we could work with each other.

Step 02

Samples & Review

We check the samples ourselves and review what selling in Korea requires, together with how well the product suits the market.

Step 03

Agreement

We agree on distribution scope, territory, pricing and trading terms, and put the partnership into a contract.

Step 04

Import & Customs

Import filing, any required testing and Korean labelling — we carry out every step selling in Korea requires.

Step 05

Launch & Distribution

Sales start in the channels that suit the product, and distribution widens as we watch how the market responds.

Compliance

Korean regulation for kitchenware

Food contact

Utensils, Containers & Packaging filing

Kitchenware that comes into direct contact with food requires an import filing under the applicable standards. We check what the product is for and what it is made of, then prepare the steps it requires.

Testing

Testing by material

Stainless steel, plastics, silicone and glass are each held to different standards. We confirm the standards that apply to a product and carry out the testing and inspection it needs.

Safety cert.

Safety standards by item

Depending on the item, some kitchen and household goods fall under separate safety standards or certification. Before import we confirm whether a product is in scope and what the process requires.

Labelling

Korean labelling & origin marking

We confirm the Korean labelling and origin marking standards a product falls under, and prepare them for sale in the Korean market.

※ Requirements vary with how a product is used, what it is made of and which item category it falls under. We confirm the applicable standards individually before import.
